Benchman/Assembly - Frameless Cabinets

We are currently looking for experienced Cabinet Builders, looking for a long-term career, to Join Excelsior Kitchens. In this role you will assist in the creation of custom cabinets following the shop drawings in various stages of the project.

There is never a dull moment, as each cabinet is custom. Attention to detail, cabinet construction knowledge, professionalism and quick thinking are essential.

Frameless Cabinet Assembler responsibilities and duties:

• Keep manufacturing areas free of dirt and debris
• Locate parts, tag them with identifying text and numbers, and record information such as gauge readings (in metric), time tracking, and material usage.
• Assist with quality control by reporting defective products or equipment malfunctions and if necessary, assist with any fixes.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly through the workday.
• Troubleshoot and fix assembly problems without significant interruptions.
• Safely and quickly preparing the working area at the end of each shift; tool lubrication, placement, air line check, hardware in place.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience with woodworking/construction projects preferred
• Experience in manufacturing environment helpful
• Ability to read/interpret shop drawings and utilize/read tape measure
• Ability to lift large cabinets with assistance

Work week is Monday – Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
